Overview
Openclaw is a personal automation assistant operated by a single individual ("the owner") for their own private use. This application connects to the owner's own Google account using Google's official APIs.
Data accessed
With the owner's explicit OAuth consent, the application may access the following Google data, limited to the owner's own account:
- Gmail — messages, labels, and settings (read/send as directed by the owner)
- Calendar — events and calendars
- Contacts — contact records
- Drive, Docs, Sheets — files and documents as directed by the owner
How data is used
Data is processed locally by the owner's own self-hosted system solely to perform tasks the owner requests (for example: summarizing email, scheduling, filing documents, or providing alerts). The application does not sell, rent, license, or share Google user data with third parties. No data is used for advertising.
Storage & retention
Processed data is stored only on the owner's private hardware. Tokens and cached data are retained only as long as needed to operate the service and can be deleted at any time by the owner.
Revocation
The owner can revoke the application's access at any time by visiting their Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions) and removing access.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be raised through the application's support contact on record with Google.
